What OR keyboard symbol are you talking about? I know of no such thing. Logical OR in C is denoted by ||. That is two | char's, informally called a "pipe char" by some. More info on that character here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vertical_bar
If you want a different answer you have to be more specific.
I didn't know vertical/pipe/broken bar ( |, ¦ ) those two equal the same thing?
On the wiki page it says that Broken bar (¦ is a separate character from |
Please clarify
I would say it depends on your keyboard and depends on your keyboard settings.
For my part, it's Shift+# (shift + the key left to character 1)
On my keyboard that symbol lives above the backslash symbol. Shift + \ (twice) gets me the 'OR'. cheers
Possibly this:
7. It is easier to write an incorrect program than understand a correct one.
40. There are two ways to write error-free programs; only the third one works.*
Lol, no it wasn't a joke
i wanted to know if there was a difference in using the | and ¦ in the purpose of writing the logical OR
Would that be an 'if any' key or an 'else any' key?
